Maddie joined Becket’s communications team as Graphic Designer in April 2019. Before joining Becket, she worked in marketing, design, advertising, and branding for a private study abroad company, and part time as a freelance graphic designer.
Before moving to Washington, D.C., Maddie graduated from the University of Dallas with a bachelor’s degree in art, focusing in printmaking. During her time at UD, Maddie interned with a local letterpress artist, and had two of her pieces published in an international student printmaking exhibit.
In her free time, you can find Maddie frequenting the local art museums, making breakfast tacos, or exploring the hiking trails and wineries around Shenandoah valley with her husband.
Sara Buckley joined Becket in 2018 as a communications assistant. Now as digital media manager, Sara plays an active role in telling our clients stories in social and digital media.
Before joining Becket, Sara interned at an advertising agency in Salt Lake City, where she performed competitive audits for name-brand clients.
Sara graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in communications, advertising emphasis and a minor in business management. Her capstone research project required conducting demographic research for a global publication to create an online platform for new readers. While at BYU, Sara worked for a BYU Ad Lab, a student-run advertising agency. She also worked as the communications manager for the university library, which under her direction won five social media awards including Best Campaign in 2017.
Sara enjoys traveling and checking national parks off her bucket list.
Stephanie Keenan joined Becket in 2013. Her work while at Becket has been published in USA Today, Washington Post, Huffington Post, Washington Examiner, The Hill, and Detroit News.
Prior to Becket, Stephanie gained communications skills while interning for various public relations and non-profit organizations – including a multicultural advocacy public relations firm, a non-profit coalition against domestic violence and sexual assault, and a pro-bono litigation communications resource that draws attention to mistakes and unfairness in death penalty and juvenile life imprisonment cases. Her experience included writing press releases, op-eds, and letters to the editor, launching and managing several social media platforms, and starting an e-newsletter.
She graduated cum laude from George Washington University with a B.A. in journalism and mass communications and a minor in psychology. While at GWU, she was involved with the Fellowship of Catholic University Students (FOCUS), a Catholic ministry for college students, through which she met her husband.
Stephanie grew up in Guam. She currently lives in Tampa, Florida with her husband and their four children. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening and baking scones and sourdough loaves for her family.
