Kelly joined Becket in September 2023 as a Constitutional Law Fellow and litigator.

Kelly clerked for the Honorable Judge Roger S. Wollman of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit, and thereafter spent three years litigating with Hunton Andrews Kurth, LLP. At Hunton, she focused primarily on federal complex commercial litigation, with experience in antitrust, class-action, appellate, False Claims Act, and consumer protection matters.

Kelly earned her J.D. magna cum laude from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis. While in law school, she created outreach and engagement strategies for startup nonprofit, The Carver Project, which empowers Christian faculty and students to serve and connect university, church, and society.

Kelly received her B.A. in International Relations and Politics summa cum laude from Cornell College, where she also captained the Women’s Lacrosse and Women’s Basketball teams. Hailing from a sheep farm in rural Iowa and a competitor at heart, Kelly enjoys outdoor sports and playing the ukulele.
