Marcos Barrios

Marcos joined Becket in 2024 as Government Affairs Analyst. He supports communication and coordination with members of Congress and their offices on religious liberty matters, conducts legislative and regulatory tracking, and assists the Government Affairs counsel.

Marcos graduated from Yale University magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Ethics, Politics, and Economics. His senior honors thesis explored the role religion plays in American social capitol theories.

A proud Floridian, Marcos has spent time interning for Governor Ron DeSantis and Senator Marco Rubio. He has continued his studies as a fellow with the John Jay Institute and Hudson Institute and has worked with the TV series The Chosen.

In his free time, Marcos enjoys road trips and solo travel adventures, playing piano and oboe, and sitting down for board games with friends.
