Jessica joined Becket in June 2019 as part of the paralegal team. She graduated with honors from the Duquesne University School of Law Paralegal Institute and received her paralegal certification from the National Association of Legal Assistants.
Born in Puerto Rico but raised in Dover, Delaware, Jessica graduated with a B.A. in Political Science from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. She married her college sweetheart and they have two children. They are long-time residents of Northern Virginia.
Her favorite book since childhood, “To Kill a Mockingbird,” inspired her interest in law and helping others. Jessica’s decision to join the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints at the age of 16 sparked an interest in religious freedom, which has only grown stronger with time.
Jessica enjoys spending time with her family, reading, yoga, current events and the Washington Nationals.
