Constitutional Law Fellow
James Kim joined Becket as a Constitutional Law Fellow in 2021. His work at Becket focuses on appellate litigation in federal courts. James is admitted to the Ohio bar.
Before joining Becket, James was a law clerk for the Honorable Michael B. Brennan of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. He also worked as a summer associate at Jones Day and judicial intern for the Honorable Jeffrey S. Sutton of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
James graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 2020. At Penn, he served as an articles editor of the University of Pennsylvania Law Review and co-president of the Christian Legal Society. James received his B.A. in American Studies summa cum laude from Colby College.
James enjoys discovering local coffee shops with his wife, spending time with their one-year-old son, and following the English Premier League.
